Born in Cherkassy Ukraine, David understands firsthand the devastating impact of war and displacement. Motivated by empathy and a deep desire to help those in need, he founded United Hearts and Minds just a few weeks after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Through this nonprofit organization, David and his team provide life-saving essentials like food, water, shelter, and medical care to people displaced by war and disaster. With a personal connection to the cause and a commitment to making a positive impact on the world, David's work with United Hearts and Minds is driven by a genuine desire to alleviate suffering and restore hope to those in need.
When not busy saving the world, David enjoys quality time with his loved ones, which includes a spouse, two kids, and a fluffy feline friend. Get to know this dynamic leader and join the mission to make a positive impact on the world!

Co-Founder. Donor Relations. San Diego, CA
As the head of the Donor Relations at United Hearts and Minds (UHM), Irina is responsible for planning and executing engaging and memorable events that help us foster strong relationships with our donors. Whether it's a donor appreciation event, a fundraising dinner, or any other activity, Irina puts her creative and organizational skills to work to ensure that our donors feel valued and connected to our mission.
In addition to her role at UHM, Irina is a dedicated wife and a caring mother of two young children. When she's not busy planning events, she enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering in her community, and exploring new ways to help people in need. With her passion for our mission and her commitment to excellence in everything she does, Irina is a vital member of our team who helps us build strong and lasting relationships with our donors.
IHOR BOCHKAR
Ambassador. Cherkassy, Urkaine
Ihor is a highly valuable member of our organization, serving as a representative and ambassador for United Hearts and Minds in Cherkassy, Ukraine. With extensive experience as an active community leader, Ihor has dedicated many years to working with parents who have children with disabilities. His expertise extends beyond his leadership skills, as he is an essential contributor to the daily operations of our organization. Ihor's contributions range from purchasing supplies to arranging distributions, providing people affected by war with essential assistance including shelter, delivering clothes, medical supplies and food, making him an indispensable member of our team.
RUSS PSHICHENKO
Community Outreach. Kansas City, MO
As the Community Outreach Coordinator for United Hearts and Minds, Ruslan is a vital member of the organization. He is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating various activities to create and maintain a positive public image and raise awareness for important issues. Ruslan has a proven track record of making a meaningful impact in the lives of refugees by helping them with basic needs such as finding shelter, sponsors, and securing their first job. His unwavering commitment to helping others and an outstanding expertise in community outreach make him an irreplaceable member of the United Hearts and Minds team.
