Why Support United Hearts and Minds?

United Hearts and Minds (UHM) is 501(C)(3) Non-Profit organization (EIN #: 88-2071582) founded for the sole purpose of providing people displaced due to war or disaster with essential assistance including shelter, life saving support, disaster relief, humanitarian aid while also helping to adjust to new homes and reclaim control over their future lives.

We are working with our partners in Ukraine to help with evacuation efforts of women and children to provide basic information psychological support, as well as warm meals or clothes, blankets, medical and other aid.  

 

In the US, we provide the refugees with documentation, translation, legal services as well as housing, furnishing, job placement, procuring essential items such as groceries, meals, medicine and financials assistance.

Volunteer

You can help the refugees by volunteering with UHM and using your skills and talents to help those who fled the invasion and violence to rebuild their lives elsewhere. Please contact us to receive a link to a volunteer application as well as a background check authorization form.  If you are a volunteer accountant, legal counsel, translator, web designer or simply someone who wants to donate your time to drive or transfer refugees to and from appointments we welcome you to apply and look forward to meet you.
